Meet the Operator

My name is Mickey Locklear. I am married with three children and I live in Lumberton, NC. I started my career with McDonald’s when I was 16 years old as a crew person and worked my way up to store manager. During my years as a manager with McDonald’s, I was presented with the Ray Kroc Award on two occasions. This award is only presented to one percent of store managers in the United States. After retiring from McDonald’s I began working with the Public Schools of Robeson County as a cafeteria manager for one of our elementary schools and was later hired as the commodities clerk where I was responsible for overseeing the USDA Food Program for the school system. Working in the food industry has always been my passion. My Grandparents were born and raised in Pembroke NC which is where Just Love Coffee will be located. I am very excited to have the opportunity to be an owner/manager for this JLC Franchise.
